A few new graphic novels, especially for @druchunas today! Memoir, sci-fi, and realistic fiction. If you haven't dipped into graphic novels before, you might be surprised by the variety and depth of story to be found in these books.
Coming back to the store after being on vacation for a week, I get to be excited about all of the new things that have come in while I was gone: New display table! Stickers! Novels! Indigenous stories for middle grade readers! Gorgeous books on nature! New early readers!
Are you a fan of Choose Your Own Adventure books? Did you know that there is a Choose Your Own Adventure GAME?? There are plenty of thrilling choices to be made in this cooperative story game, which can be played in one long sitting or a chapter at a time over the course of several days (which is how we're playing).
Looking for a new game to try over February break? We've got Fluxx - the game that's never the same twice! With rules that change as you play, it's equal parts strategy and blind luck.

Meet Eddy! She is the new member of the Jones household and the Galaxy staff. Today is her first day at work. She is a super sweet and smart girl and we expect she will soon love her bookstore days. She is pretty shy - lots of big changes in the past few days! - but she is very friendly and gentle. If you come to the Galaxy on one of her work days, please say hello. She may be slow to come to you, but she warms up quickly. Please give her some space while she adjusts.
We are super excited about our new section of games! There are fast-paced game to play during a quick break, story based games that could take an afternoon (or days!) to play through, cooperative games that pit the players against the game board, and lots of others. It's time to play!
