Second Thursdays Book Club

Our April book club choice is the satirical novel, Cold Comfort Farm. Parodying the novels of her contemporaries, Stella Gibbons wrote the story of recently orphaned socialite, Flora Poste, as she descends on her relatives at the aptly named Cold Comfort Farm in deepest Sussex and finds a singularly miserable group in dire need of her particular talent: organization.
